My hubby has had this problem for over a year now...been to a doctor twice with no luck in helping him. Intense itching of feet and ankles...red patches, oozing of clear fluid...saturates his socks. Can anyone help?

  • I don't know what tests they have run at your MD's office but that can be a symptom of autoimmune disease's such as lupus and Sjogren's----Sjogren's disease can affect other glands too, such as those in the stomach, pancreas, and intestines, and can cause dryness in other places that need moisture, such as the nose, throat, airways, and skin. It could also be something as simple as an allergy to his soap, socks or shoe's. Sometimes a company will change it's formulary which causes an allergic reaction some people. Good luck and I hope your husband gets some relief.
