one thing I've noticed is when I run my skin, green flakes come off. Any idea what it is?

When I scratch or rub my skin on my chest or neck, I have noticed dark green-brown flakes peeling off. They're small, size of dust balls, but lots come off. I thought it was dead skin, but is dead skin green? What is going on? Is it a serious health issue?

  • What you're finding on your skin after running or any strenuous activity that causes
you to sweat is a combination of a few different things....
Dead skin cells, dirt and pollen particles stick to the oil and sweat on the surface of the skin... When you rub your skin they mix together and leave the brown-green residue that you see... Pollen contributes to the dark green color, not the dead skin... No worries
