non-itching skin rash

For 4 days now I have had a non-itching, non-painful skin rash circling my wrist (about a half inch in diameter). I thought it might have somthing to do with a metal bracelet I'd been wearing. I removed the bracelet shortly after noticing the rash but the rash remains. this morning I noticed the rash had spread about another inch up my arm and is now inflamed.

Any ideas out there? -Karen
