For some reason whenever my skin gets wet it starts to itch.
Usually after a shower or even if I break a sweat it starts. The bad thing is that when I lay down to sleep I prespire and it starts then too. I live on the Atlantic Ocean, after coming out of the ocean it starts. I'm also a fire fighter and after taking off my gear my clothes are soaked in sweat, it starts then.

Any ideas?

As a mother of a fireman I felt a need to share my solution with you. My skin problem, the same as yours, itching when wet, sweat, in the rain, pool even if the dog licks me has been controled by taking 100 mg. of Lyrica ( a prescription drug for fibromialgia). I take it 30 minutes before I know I am going to get wet and I do not itch. Maybe this will work for you also! Good luck and please be careful in your job. I know that most of the time you are just waiting for that call but when it comes it could be the dangrous one, so I say again please be careful.A firemans mother!Brenda Davis
