My Condition

I noticed my first bump in Mid march in my genital region. I left it alone for a while but then started picking at it. I don't know if that caused it to spread or not but it did. I would say by May 1 I had 15-20 of them and saw a dermatologist. He confirmed my self diagnosis of MCV. He electro-cauterized a couple of them and they all seemed to heal relatively quickly but there were others. I froze those immediately with Dr. Scholls Freeze Away and they are slowly leaving.

My new approach is to remove the core. I started this about two or three days ago and so far I have been pretty successful at removing the core. I pinch the area to raise the skin, then use a very pointy tweezers to grab hold of the lesion. It may take a try or two but I am finally able to pull the core out. You know it's out because it bleeds pretty steadily for a while. In my experience, if you aren't bleeding for a solid couple of minutes, the core is still there.

I swab with alcohol both before and after attacking each one and then I apply NuSkin liquid bandage. I'm going to leave that on for a couple days before removing.

I don't know if opening these things up is a good idea or not as people seem to have mixed results but I'm not waiting around for this thing to take care of itself. I'm going to check daily for new ones and if I see them, rip the little suckers out.

I'll keep everyone posted on what happens. As of right now I think all of them are healing or have been de-cored. There are a few suspect bumps that I will keep an eye on over the next few days. I hope I can knock this out in the next month.
