I've had a few bumps on my face for about a year now. I had one above my lip removed last yr and I can see another one coming in its place and I also have one on the other side of my lip disappearing. I have 2 on my cheek and 2 on my nose. As a 21 yr old female, I'm very self conscious and I don't know what else to do. I go swimming and I work with children so I think that's how I got it. I have allergies so the one right above my lip I would hit it all the time. It would leak and I would clean it with an alcohol pad so that's how it dried out. But what about the ones that I cant just pull off. They are somewhat wide with a wide white pit instead on raised. I hope this makes sense. Help me!!!!

Help me!!!!You really need to make an appointment with a Dermatologist immediately! I am new to this horrible affliction, yes, I called it an affliction. It is quite a bit more daunting than just that however because, I know exactly how you feel!I've come to the point now in my situation, whereby I had to cancel a trip back home to attend a huge concert which I paid almost $260 for tickets to attend with my best friend, simply because I am too freaked out and fearful to have that many people around me without my being able to control my environment and all the germs around me. It's just frightening and I understand your plight -- believe me I do.That being said, if you are working with kids especially at the pool, that is most certainly a reason you could've contracted this virus, yes.And since you ARE working with children, it would be most advisable that you see an MD right away to have those lesions treated. The last thing you want to do, is pick at, scratch, irritate and exacerbate an already existing bump.Leave them alone, they spread like wild fire if they are irritated, and I know that first hand. In fact, it's 2 months in in my case, and I've found a few more bumps where I am unable to cover them with band aides or tape, or whatever. So, I made yet another appointment for this afternoon to see my Dermy.Don't let these things go untreated -- go to your MD! In the meantime, I know that due to them being on such a visible part of your body, you probably are hesitant to put tape on your face or a band aide, but you should cover them with something so that they don't spread and "leak" like you mentioned.I'm sorry for your situation, but please know, that you are not alone in your humiliation and embarrassment. I'm right here with ya!Good luck!
