I have been dealing with molluscum since Feb, started out with 2 pimples on my thighs and my Gyn told me that they were follocillitis and dont worry. then i ended up having a big one and went to MD he told me i have molluscum on the pubic hair and vulva. since july i have went to derm doc 6 times to have these froze off. this is getting to be very expensive with the cost of derm visits and gas. I am at my wits end really and getting very deppressed. the docs keep telling me it is looking like it is going away since i only have 2 or 3 anymore but i am just wishing that this virus would end and i could get my life back. the pain of the freezing after the procedure sucks and i have to take pain pills to feel better. I do not know where i contracted this from and my ex told me that he never has had this. the molluscum started on my legs and have spread to groin region. this virus sucks.. anyone else dealing with this

  • I'm going on 6 months and it does suck. I had it on thighs, pubic area, shaft, stomach. It seems to be clearing up, but always more seem to be popping. Currently using Zyclara cream. It's Aldara. Have you tried any of that?

  • Here is my story:Had one of these bumps on my lower chest. Put a bandaid on it to protect if from spreading. Went to the doc the next day. He use a lazer to kill it and the few that popped up around the baindaid over night. Thought I was in the clear. Then I thought I had some pop up higher. Well the lazer left a mark that takes a long time to heal so, I tried to put medications on it and leave it alone. Seemed to get smaller, but not gone. After two months I did not have any new ones, although every pimple I got freaked me out. I went to a derm who looked them and said I had acne. I used benzol peroxide. Also read an article on MC that said the 10% benzol peroxide helped get rid of MC- but it takes weeks. So, I got some cheap zit cream 10% benzol peroxiced and put it on. Seemed to make one or two smaller. Then I switched after three weeks to salicylic acid which was in a different acne cream. Well within a few days the bumps were done, just some pink skin left like it is healing. I contnue to put the cream on just to make sure. BUT, just as i was thinking I am in the clear , one pops up on my neck. I can tell it is not a zit as it seems to be on the skine rather thatn coming up through the skin. So I froze it with a wart remover!!! Just waiting to see how it goes.If anyone has any ideas for me please post. I am not sure I can take this any longer. Thanks
