hey ive been having this lip problem for weeks now. its like my lips are really dry and they bleed twice everyday when i laugh or sneeze etc. they look terrible out of shape, ugly and fat and the skin on the lips is thick. there's like a vertical thick line on the centre of my bottom lip. it looks like a cut and its like maroonish red. it looks like if its dry blood but it looks super weird. like my bottom lip is divided into 2 parts by this ugly centre line. and this is the part where the bleeding happens at the centre line. please help me if you know the problem :( ive just started using vaseline on my bottom lip. oh and my upper lip is fine no problem.
help would be appreciated. looking forward to a reply soon :)
thank you

  • i saw your posting about a week ago. i had the same exact problem a week ago but now it is completely heeled and looks great! just thought i would tell you how i fixed it.throughout the day i kept applying 'calendula oil' to my lips. you can find this at super supplements and most other health stores. its not to cheap but is great for continued use after healing. it will help moisturize and heal dried lips and general abrasions around the body. then at nights i applied a layer of liquid bandage/antiseptic over the tear on my lower lip. I found it best to apply at night because your mouth is not constantly moving which allows the bandage to hold together properly. only took me 3 days of the steps listed above to completely heal my lip! you may notice your tear getting darker but don't pick at it. it is simply scabbing and will come off naturally when ready. once the scabbing came off and lip was not in pain anymore i continuously applied basic Burts Bee's lip balm, im sure any lip balm may work i just personally like Burts Bee's.hope that helps!
