I had a baby about a year ago, and gained a lot of weight during the pregnancy. I developed stretch marks, which I know isn't uncommon with most pregnancies, BUT, a few days ago I noticed a large, red bump ON one of the stretch marks.
It still hasn't gone away, and it's been about 4 days... It's large and soft, and sometimes painful if my clothes rub on it.
Someone told me it could be an ingrown hair, or pimple, and it's large because stretch marks are scar tissue, and it's thinner skin. Either way, I personally have no idea what it is, what caused it or if I should be worried. At the moment my health card is expired and I'm in the process of renewing, but it will be a few days yet before I can see a doctor.
Does anyone know what this is? Or has anyone experienced a similar bump?
P.s. I do have a photo of it, but I have no idea how to post that here...
