The toes of both my feet have some redness on them and are itchy. The redness is on the tops of toes, not in between. It's worse at night. It can't be an allergy because taking an antihystamine didn't help. Any ideas are appreciated.

It's just that I have the exact same symptoms and can't find out what I need to treat it. Many thanks, Claire

Been plagued by it reappearing at night out of the blue for no logical reason years later!I have to cool the foot down by putting it under the cold tap for as long as poss, plus I also wash it with some antibac handwash (or anything antibac eg kitchen surface spray would you believe), then dry thoroughly BUT without warming it up again! Then go to back to bed or go sit with feet up quick before walking makes the blood circulate to warm it up again - if in bed then leave feet outside of the covers to stay cold. Pigging annoying, and bizarre - because it doesn't seem to 'fit' the athletes foot profile.H.
