I have been having awful itchy skin mainly on my hands/forearms legs/feet and back. This itch is like no other and it gets worse when you itch. The weird part that makes me feel I have a real problem is occasionally I get red dots(most noticeable on my hands, legs forearms) which I will describe as very small yet defined and only noticeable for short periods of time. They stay about 10mins then fade away they are small and well concentrated. My family thinks it is just dry skin but the dots are what lead me to believe otherwise.
I don't think it is bedbugs because I share a room and the other person is unaffected. This is the main point that it would just be dry skin. It doesn't appear to be infectious via air/contact... So I am puzzled... if it is dry skin it would take a lot of moisturizer each day to avoid the itch and these red dots are making me very paranoid.
