I am 50 year old Asian Lady. I have itchy skin from head to toes and it is realy realy bad ( I have tried different shower Gels and Moisturisers and nothing has helped). I don't get any rash or blisters. I did have fungal infection of the vagina about 2 years ago (which took a year for the doctor to diagnose) I was given three courses of antibiotics which seems to have cleared that about 75%. My blood count keeps going down and the doctor keeps prescribing Iron tablets (I have been on the iron tablets for 6 weeks this time).
I don't know if the blood count is related to the itchy skin or not. The blood count goes down if i don't take the iron tablets.
I have lost confidence in My GP and i don't know what to do as it is very embarrasing and very uncomfortable.
