Now i came back from the hospital i had a iv in my arm and when i took the tape off it started to itch now i have it again but a lot worse. People said it was probably the tape but before i didn't have tape on my arms and it appeared can someone help me out? Also i think its spreading and i have had a iv in before and it never did this before. It is also Very hot. When i scratch it clear liquid comes out.

  • Hi, in my point of view, below are some reasons that may cause itchy skin on your arms.1. Skin Bumps on arm caused by Psoriasis: Scaly silvery-white skin bumps on the face (often accompanied by redness) that itch could be psoriasis of the face. Psoriasis is often found on the elbows and legs but can also occur on the arm, causing itching and flaking and sometimes pain.2. Skin Bumps on arms caused by Eczema: Red itchy skin bumps on the arms that secrete a clear fluid when scratched to the point of breaking the skin may be an indication that you have eczema.3. Skin Bumps on arms caused by Allergies: It is common to experience itchy skin bumps in reaction to allergies from poison ivy, poison oak, leg shaving cream, body lotions or clothing. It is a good idea that at the first sign of skin irritation that you discontinue use of one product at a time to help troubleshoot the cause of the skin allergy.hope it may help! ..

  • It's hard to believe that this thread started in 2006... I don't know any definitive answers but I can help out with a few leads you might want to read: 1) Search 'rash' in Wikipedia and it will give a long list of different types of skin disorders along with a description of its symptoms. Its not a complete list of disorders because I noticed it doesn't have all the different types of eczema's on the list.2) Try googling 'Extra Virgin Coconut Oil + Eczema' or 'Royal Jelly + Eczema' For taking orally or topically. GNC or Vitamin World carry them both. Since eczema or other skin disorders are due because of Autoimmune disorder, researching which natural herbs, vitamins etc can boost the autoimmune system.3) As hard as it may sound, stay away from Aveeno products. This is what started my whole eczema like symptoms that I've had now for about 3wks. It initially began when my hands became extremely dry causing them to wrinkle prematurely. Hope this helpsRJ

  • this has also happened to me, please let's discuss what the problem(s) could be, i too have all sorts of appts. with dermatologists and my girlfriend doesn't have it...I have this also! It starts out as small bumps, then gets hot and if you itch them they open up and get red and mosquito bite looking. These are not bites from anything, I have been dealing with these for 6 years. It doesn't transfer by contact, but it is annoying!
