itching, blistering fingertips

The tips of my fingers started itching a week ago, very severe itching! Over the next few days, small bumps, then blisters appeared. They are under my fingernails, on knuckles, on several fingers. Also one small spot on my forearm. I can't emphasize enough how terribly it itches! By the way, some of the blisters ooze & crust over (especially the blisters under my fingernails). Help would be appreciated! No new lotions, detergents, foods, etc. have been used.

  • Try some polysporin ointment--it could be impetigo. If the polysporin doesn't help, try some cortisone ointment for allergy--it may be poison ivy. Of course, it would be wisest to go to the Dr.! PS Keep your hands away from your eyes!!
