Is this misdiagnosed rosacea?

Symptoms: a rash starting on the face (cheeks + nose), spreading over the forehead, then down neck, trunk, arms and now legs. Appeared overnight on face, has got progressively worse (spreading) over the last week, no sign of stopping. No history of 'blushing episodes'.

This was dismissed as rosacea in about 5 milliseconds by MD. Any other ideas?
