Hello everyone, I don't feel comfortable saying my name, so I'll just go by basshunter. I have been in and out of the doctors office for more then 3 years now. I'm a 16 year old who looks rather 12-14 years old. I have taken many test and all came out negative, they were all normal. I have low blood count, red cells and white cells, also the platelets are low. I have done a variety of different tests to see why this is, and all the tests came out normal. I have been going through this for well over 3 years. I'm 5 feet which is not normal for the average height of a 16 year old. I have done a test for growing hormones and that as well came out normal. This meant I couldn't take the hormones because they are very expensive and I didn't need them. I'm also very skinny, about 76 pounds which is below average as well. I have little tiny red spots at times around my arms and chest or feet, not a lot. I have done a bone marrow test, and that as well came out normal. The doctor said it could be Leukemia or HIV, so I did the test. They both came out negative, that was a relief. I have done many more test, I can not remember all but these are the ones I can actually recall. I just want to know what is wrong with me? Why am I so short and skinny? Why are my blood counts low? I eat healthy, I work out, and I'm a normal teenager who goes to HS. If you have any answers I would really appreciate it! Thank you all for your time and sorry for such a long post. Side note: Doctor said "Sorry, we just don't have answers for you" so he told us to make another appointment and check the results of my blood test that I took the last time I was in the doctor's office.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
