  • Hi, Actually 8 people out of 1,000,000 in Britain, Germany and France have come down with it. There are tons of information on the Internet about it. Takes 1 - 5 years to get rid of it, yuk. Mine itches like crazy, and makes for restless sleeping and sometimes blood stains on the sheets from scratching while I'm asleep. Mine seems to be a result of the hormone shots I took at the start of my prostate cancer trteatments. The shot is called Lupton - made by Tap Pharmaceuticals. I'm looking for ways to control and eliminate it, as it is a constant irritant

  • Hello, I am so sorry about your condition. My mother had it, she passed on early in August. She had alot of medical conditions. Her heart, weight and diabectic, and many others as well. I can certainly feel your pain. She hurt so bad with hers. She would itch, bleed, (she had to take a blood thiner so she really bleed alot) She would said that she would itch to death. It took us a year to determine what she really had. First they thought it was the sun, and then it was other things but I beleive that they got in her throat. I took her to the emergency room, Complaining of her throat, they never looked in her mouth. She died in her sleep the next night. I am not trying to scare you, but to be aware that in can affect your mouth. They are shots to help but you can take to much steriods or not enough. So please be carefull. I hope that some time soon they will be a better treatment to cure this painful disease.
