So the past week I have been breaking out with a few sever cases of hives daily. I've been for allergy testing and there's nothing that I am allergic to. The doctor said it was probably just a viral infection and hopes it would clear up.

Now in the morning I wake up with huge swollen puffy eyes for no apparent reason. They don't itch or water so I dont think its an allergy. My heads been pounding and my neck aches. I feel like a mess, and it dosen't help that the antihistamines I've been taking to help the hives are making me drowsy. Has any one had a similllar combo of symptoms?

  • This exact thing happened to our son this past weekend, eyes so swollen that he is unrecognizable. Did you ever figure out the cause of this? He is in so much agony. We are desperate.

We are desperate.I am 33 y/o woman, no allergies whatsoever but for 4 or 5 times in the past two weeks I have been waking up in the morning with huge puffy eyes and hives on my arms and thighs. They go away within the first 4 hours after I get up and by afternoon my eyes are barely puffy anymore. The hives don't even itch.I can't think of anything that could cause this! I am perfectly healthy, no other aches or pains. I'm getting a little worried.

  • Sleeping positions may also affect the veins in your eyes so it maybe the reason why you get puffy eyes.
