Help: Constant Itching and Tingling Sensation

Been happening for 2 days now. I have a weird feeling all over my body. It's an itching, tingling sensation. The best way to describe it is as "ants running on your skin or biting you." It doesen't hurt and it doesen't itch so much that I need to stratch it. Just weird tingling. All I need to do to get rid of the sensation is to brush my skin or even touch it. The thing is, once the sensation stops it starts somewhere else on my body and once again I got to brush or touch my skin. And the sensation starts up somewhere on my body around every 10 seconds.

Does anyone have any clue what on earth this is?

  • Yes, shingles or another herpes virus. You can get a blood test for shingles antibodies and get on an antiviral.
