Anyone diagnosed with Grovers Disease? How are you treating it? Can you lead a normal life? Feel like mine is over. Last resort is to try photo light theropy.

  • Grover's disease, more correctly termed "transient acantholytic dermatosis", is often succesfully treated with oral or topical steroids. If these don't work, then you can look at UV therapy, or the use of oral retinoids such as Accutane or Soriatane. I hope you had a biopsy, because that is the only way to tell if what you have is truely Grover's. Until you have a biopsy, there are a great number of possible diagnoses, which means a lot of different types of potential treatment. Yes, you can lead a normal life. You just have to make sure of the diagnosis, and find someone who will treat it correctly.
