I am a female, 59 years old. I first noticed and was diagnosed with granuloma annulare (GA) about 10 years ago when I was in my late 40's just about the time I started taking estrogen...hmmmm! Because I got this when I was older I am not too self concious about it, however, I do have a large ring of it on my ankle and another large one on my hand. Because 2 times a week I am in a women's group sitting on chairs in a large circle I am a little self concious when I don't wear socks and the one on my hand I can see all the time. So what I do is get out something like Bare Minerals powder and that big ole brush and brush it on and it really covers it. It only takes a few seconds. I try not to stress out about getting it covered completely. In other words I don't feel I need to look perfect. Another product that works well is from Sephora called Kat Von B. tatoo concealer. It is $25 but you only need a very small amount. I carry this in my purse and dab it on once in awhile on my hand. Again, and I am probably making this point too often in this post, but really, be happy about your self ladies. I have never met a woman out there that doesn't have something about herself that she wouldn't want to change. GA can be annoying, yes, but certainly something I can live with and I hope you can too.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
