Okay so I figured I would try this since few dermatologists have been able to come up with anything more than atopic dermatitis. I have generalized (all over) skin irritation. Skin is very sensitive to hot water and sometimes to various soaps which has been my primary focus. The itchy is usually on a cycle and can occur with or without such allergens. I do not have any rashes but rather perfect skin that seems near perfect, but the skin is very itchy and sometimes feels like a crawling sensation. It can affect anywhere from the arms, stomach, back, groin, innner thighs, down to the ankles.
Sleeping is often difficult as I find myself waking up wide awake for no reason and an extreme skin crawling feeling or itch. I have researched scabies but all doctors say no as I have no visible signs of such. I have looked in cancers but am perfectly healthy otherwise with respect to slight asthma or shortness of breath. I have my blood checked every 6mo for everything from STD's to WBC counts to thyroid activity. It basically feels nervous system related or if my skin is extreting poisons. I would normally think it was my sourrounding environment im alergic to but the itching can occur from work to home though most often occurs at those two locations. I read something about parasites in the intestines. I am also considering looking into allergens to dental products since my fillings have started to fall out lately. The skin itch is so severe and I dont want to be on anti-itch meds or creams forever. Thats a waste of time, money, and patience. Does anyone have any ideas?
