Hi, my almost 70-year-old dad has been getting these ferris-wheel looking marks all over his body: shoulder, behind the elbows, legs, belly. I have searched the internet but have not come across such strange hexagonal shapes.
These markings are "embossed" i.e. protrude from the skin surface & are rough to touch. They itch and my dad uses the (hot air) hairdryer to relief the itches.
Over time, the markings will dissolve & disappear but new markings appear on other parts of his body, usually on "tender" parts of the body e.g. armpits, elbow bend (?) - I suspect they are lymph node areas.
