OK, this probably sounds totally bizarre. 2 summers ago I got knocked down by a wave and had an abrasion on my leg, no big deal. It healed up fine, but ever since I fell that area would just start itching at random times. I thought it was just the scab that was causing it, but now over 2 years later I am still itching in that exact spot!
Went to the dermatologist and she said it was probably some kind of nerve issue. I thought maybe sand was under the skin and she said no because that would cause pain, which I don't have.
Basically about once or twice a day the spot itches like crazy, I scratch it, and it stops. Anyone ever hear of this?
