Recently I began feeling like there are mosquitos biting me constantly & I can't figure out what's doing it.
It does not happen at any particular time of day.
My skin is not dry.
It happens whether I am standing, sitting down, walking, lying down, etc.
I haven't changed my diet or habits or my laundry detergent. And it usually happens on uncovered skin, anyway.
It happens everywhere on my body, but mostly on my legs & arms.
The feeling can last anywhere from 1 sec. to 30 sec. & doesn't seem to stop until I scratch or touch it in some way. Sometimes I'll look at my skin where I am having the "biting" feeling & can see that there is nothing there, but it won't end until I do something about it. But, it is painful until I do so.
Often, the area itches for a while after the biting feeling, making it seem even more so that I was 'bitten', but there is never a mark or welt & I don't see any bugs around.
Does anybody have any idea what this could be? Thank you.
