I believe I've found the answer to my extreme pain symptoms..read under "ankle spasm" and my posted response. This condition is now known as " complex regional pain syndrome...treatment includes trails approved by the FDA with ketamine...conducted by Drexel University College of Medicine.

  • I used Ketamine for about a year, and was forced to get off of it because it was having an effect on my brain. It was causing me to have horrific nightmares. I thought the nightmares were becuase of the psychological problems I was having due to the stress of having RSDS/CRPS. Really I didn't know why I was having them, but they were getting worse to were I was scared to fall asleep. Then one day my doctor asked how the Ketamine was helping. I said it was okay. He then asked if I was having any nightmares. I almost fell out of my chair. He immediatley took me off of it. Don't forget Ketamine is an experimental drug for RSDS/CRPS.

  • First of let me say congratulations on getting this disease as it only seems to affect high achievers. My mom had this disease and so did her first doctor. That aside have you ever tried hyperbaric treatments as this helped them tremdously. They often went to the same doctors as for years it went un dx. Many people still do not know about this disease including doctors. I think that the oxgyen helped them the mos though so it is good to look into it. Good luck to you and your familys and never stop fighting for a cure becasue it had been known to happen.
