my mom has had this problem with her hands for about 5 years now and its really bad. shes 50 now its difficult and painful for her to hold or grab things and she has to walk slowly and lightly when she walks so it wont hurt so much. its been treated as an allergy, fungus, dermatitis, excema (sp*) etc... now they want her to see a rheumatologist, thinking the cause stems from her arthritis (im not a medical expert but that just sounds kinda weird). also she has a thyroid issue. any ideas/thoughts?
