As the title suggests, I have dry, flaking skin on my face. It is mostly on my forehead and my nose, but there are a couple of patches around my lips. The peeling started almost a week ago. I went to a picnic with my family, and that night, my face and neck developed small bumps and the skin was very itchy. Only the exposed areas of my skin became itchy, so I figured it must have been from the sun. My mother suggested that I apply some 0.5% hydrocortisone on my face to stop the itching. Overnight, the shyness disappeared, and over the next day the redness went down. I thought my problem was over, but now the skin is peeling, and I have no idea what's wrong. I have tried calamine and hydrocostisone, but every morning my face is still scaly. Do you guys have any idea what this could be?
