My dd was diagnosed with molloscum. I've noticed that since using retin A that after a bath that her molloscum has white heads. Do the bumps pop or do they just fade away in order to clear up?

  • Molloscum sometimes pops and sometimes doesn't. Best to have the lesions treated so it doesn't spread. If you read the entire thread here you should be well studied on it:http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=5918

  • How i got rid of Molluscum. I have read, read and read on this subject i tried Aldara, expensive waste of time, Tea tree oil (not strong enough by itself. After reading other sucess stories this is what i did. You Must eliminate the white core from each leision. Not always are they visible, Sometimes they are smaller than you can see, just pinch low. This is a virus in your skin, not your blood. Therefore, once the white core is removed, so is the virus. Use your fingernails, get under the lesion and pinch them out one by one. Do not shave them, this will spread the virus. There will be a lot of blood, but no pain. Use Betadine or iodine to clean the wounds after they are bleeding, this will help the clotting process. I would do 4 or 5 a day, I had about 50 of them. At night i used tea tree oil, this is really good for keeping the skin dry. 1 week of doing this the wounds healed up, 2 weeks later Molluscum free. What a crappy irritating disease this is.

  • 4 of my sons had molloscums. My youngest had them right down the middle of his front, from his lips, under his neck on his torso and groin, but not on his limbs like his brothers. After taking penicillin for another ailment, they all turned red like chicken pox and scabbed off and never came back. It was the strangest thing!
