I was hospitalized last November with a severe case of cellulitis and now 8 months later, I still have ugly red skin around my lower leg. Is there any way to get rid of this or at least lighten it? Laser treatments maybe? Should I see a dermatologist, as my Dr didn't know of anything?

  • I still have ugly red skin Since you mention a skin problem, and since a skin doctor is a dermatologist, then yes, you should see a dermatologist. It is possible to change the color of skin, depending on what is causing the presence of color in the first place. Obviously, one cannot determine what is the reason for the red color by reading an internet forum.....
