Cold hands all the time

When it's below 18 degrees...my hands are freezing. Sometimes locally my fingers turn purple or white and feel numb, even though it wasn't that cold outside. When I'm under the shower it feels like the water feels much more warm on my hands than on the rest of my body. (just like when you have a bath and your feet can't stand the heat as much as your arm for instance)

I don't have a boyfriend but if I would have one this I would find a problem. I know how 'bad' it feels when someone put their cold hands on you and with me they can't seem to get warm for any longer than 5 minutes, so that worries me.

Any ideas?

  • Could be Raynauds and /or thyroid. Try this link.www.raynauds.org I live in the northesat and have been freezeing all winter. The best thing is not to let your ands get cold, mittens are better than gloves....warm water helps too. Best wishes.
