I had been having problems with ingrown hairs on a certain spot on my face. I heard that grapefruit seed extract would help my skin so I tried it the other night. I applied a couple of drops to a 1.5 x 4 cm area on my face and rubbed it in with some water. Apparently I didn't dilute it enough b/c I woke up in the middle of the night and my face was burning. I flushed the area with water and have been applying neosporin to the area. Its been about 36 hours since using the GSE. The area is discolored(mostly red, but almost brownish) and the skin is feeling somewhat rough(feels smoother than yesterday though). The skin also feels slightly numb but less so than yesterday. I think the burn seems to be healing quickly but I am worried about the discoloration and if there will be any scarring. Is there anything I should be worried about.
