I am a healthy 19 yr old male - except for this condition. I eat a healthy diet, I exercise, I practice good hygiene, I have a fast metabolism. Recently, I've been bleeding inexplicably from my back and front torso - only, for short bouts, often while I am asleep. There are no lacerations or abrasions, no rash, no irritation from which to bleed. The only reason I know I have bled is I wake up to find my shirt (or sheets if I do not sleep in a shirt when it happens) stained with blood splatters. It doesn't happen every day, and the splatters can be small or large I have not felt fatigue, nausea or disorientation, or nausea, which is doubly strange for being an insomniac. I have ruled out morgellons disease due to there being no fibers secreted or inexplicable skin sensations. I have also discounted cutaneous Porphyrias for similar reasons: the bleeding is sporadically timed and there is a lack of requisite symptoms. I have no health insurance, and there are no free clinics within biking distance, so I will not see a doctor, and empty out my life savings, unless I think my life is in danger; since I have not experienced any of the symptoms for blood loss, I am disinclined to believe it is as such at present. For now, it is merely an inconvenience to do laundry twice or thrice as often as is normally needed, and curious enough that I would like my condition named.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
