Every year for about the past 4-5 years I've had the same rash occur at about this time of year in exactly the same place - right in the middle of the palm of my left hand. I can tell exactly as I have scarring now from the previous years!
The rash is about 2.5 cm across, pretty circular and right in the centre of my left palm (never happened on my right palm). It's made up of lots of little blister like things. I also have about 4 extra mini-blisters further out on my plam. There's not really any colour, although they become slightly yellow-ish as time goes on.
At the moment they're just starting to get itchy. But I know that in a few days it will become unbearable and the rash will then become VERY painful making it difficult to move my hand at all (which is extra bad given than I type all day everyday!). The pain feels like it is coming from right underneath the rash and inside my hand (until with eczma (sic), which feels very surface like). When I do itch it, or the blisters break, it gets a bit clammy, sticky and feels quite hot. The rash seems to last for about 4-6 weeks and then just goes of its own accord. I've tried lots of creams but they never help.
Any ideas before this starts to get really painful again??? :(
Sorry, I don't have my camera with me at the moment so I can't upload a pic.
