Any opinions or ideas are welcome. Returned from vacation in Florida 2 days ago. (Monday night) No issues at all the 10 days I was away. No issues on Tuesday, the day after my return. Wednesday day, no problems. This morning, (Thursday) I got up a 2am itching like a son-of-a-bi*ch! on my inner arms. Looked like a few mosquito bites. Went back to bed. Got up at 5:30 to go to work and my torso on the sides only (not chest or back) were covered in these mosquito-like welts. From below armpit down to groin. Very few on upper hip/buttocks area. The ones on my arms were already just reddened and little blotchy from my incessant scratching at 2am. They look like hives and itch but not really really bad.
I'm obviously worried sick now over what this is. Was on vacation with family, and my wife does not have any of these welts. We were in same bed in hotel for entire 10 days, and then again at home the last 2 nights. I did not empty my luggage outside though as I really didnt think about that or the possibility of bedbugs from the hotel. Though I have read this morning on various websites before posting here about bedbugs, hotels, luggage unpacking and the fact that if it is a bedbug , my wife may not actually have a reaction. Any thoughts, opinions, etc are appreciated.
