My ortho doc says I have frozen shoulder on right side. He did MUA in Sept. Pain is terrible and seems to be getting worse not better, even tho doing Phy Therapy 3x per week. I also have concerns there may be more going on since he never did an MRI.

Does anyone have similar experiences and / or suggestions on how to deal with the pain? I have concerns with long-term ( months) use of pain meds and even Advil due to gastro related issues.

  • hi, I suggest you avoid the use of pain meds by using other natural forms of pain management. Acupuncture is excellent for pain and is widely considered to be one of the best treatments for frozen shoulder. Some Chinese medicine practitioners are also specialists in Qi Gong Tui Na Massage (Chinese Medical Massage). These practitioners can perform manipulations to release the adhesion and speed healing. You can also talk to a chiropractor. They also offer effective treatment for Frozen Shoulder.
