For the last few years I have been experiencing a pins and needles sensation in my legs, usually around the ankle area, sometimes around the knee. It always starts in the middle of the night and then I'm unable to get back to sleep. It doesn't respond to any pain medication. It may happen 2 or 3 nights in a row and then it may not happen again for a couple of months. It drives me to distraction.

  • I have pins and needles in my legs, too (MS since 2001). My Doc gave me Lyrica but after reading about it, I chose not too take it. I have severe spacity, too which is my biggest problem. I've tried several medications and they all seem to have negative effects. I am trying SCT soon because I feel it best treats the cause of the problem, if it works, and doesn't mask the disease. I started Ampyra and just started Baclofen for the I believe 5th time. I've had bad reactions every time early but this time, I'm giving it more of a chance. I have also heard that it would be good to try Bee Sting Therapy but have not looked into it yet

  • Hi LadiesI am getting what feels like pins and needles buzzing in my head, legs, feet and sometimes my hands. It is really scaring me as I have googled it I know I shouldnt and found MS, Diabetis and other things which scare me.I have recently had blood tests for hormones, thyriod, blood glugose which was fine. My eostrogen levels are low Not shocked and I am in post.I used to get these more at night but I am now getting them 24/7 and the ones in my head make me feel a little off and my vision is not quite right...a bit snowy at times.Does anyone else get these?I am really worried as I have health anxiety anyway but feel like giving up today. Thank you in advanceIna
