People always seemed to be amazed by the fact that it's possible that I can dislocate my shoulderblades. (Assuming that's what it is.) I'm just a little concerned that it could cause some problems on down the road, so could someone tell me exactly what it is?

  • To the poster talking about being able to dislocate shoulder blades, I would consult a rheumatologist to investigate the possibility of Marfan Syndrome or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Both are connective tissue disorders, and both can be potentially very painful and and even fatal without medical attention and lifelong followups.
