Can make my left shoulder pop

I've been able to make my left shoulder pop for many years without pain.

How I do it:
Straighten Left arm
Grab onto a straight surface with my left hand
Rotate Arm Clockwise

Is this something I was born with or is it damage to my shoulder that I've had for many years?

If it is damage, is it fixable?

  • DO NOT POP IT OUT! I have had shoulder instability for many years, and before I was diagnosed I used to pop it out sometimes. I wish so badly that I had never done that, because it got to the point where I was subluxing unintentionally 3-6 times a day. Every time your shoulder pops out, it makes it easier for a traumatic injury to occur, and nerve damage becomes more likely.
