Well this is the first time i have written on a site like this so please forgive any mistakes i make. I am 27 and in brief i have psoriatic arthritis, i got diagnosed at 23 but apparently i have had it all my life. I went into hospital with excruciating back pain, loss of feeling and use in my left leg and unable to urinate, the cause being bulging disc's. After treatment i was hope for Christmas. I am now on the fentynal (sp?) patch for the pain. Now as of two week ago i started to have pain in my shoulder along the back of my collar bone, i thought i had pulled a muscle ao just tried to keep moving, i went to see my private physio who is fantastic as the pain got worse and movement got limited. He thinks i have compressed blood vessels in my shoulder as my hand is very cold and my thumb and first finger is blue. After following instructions of keeping my shoulder warm and keep the hand moving it is no better. I am due to see the pain team at the hospital tomorrow and my physio says i must tell them what is happening and that to phone him of they require any information. But...as the weekend is nearly over i am in agony, my shoulder is on fire and throbbing, my forearm feels very clumsy and my hand is cold and has limited movement. I am seeing my physio on Tuesday after the pain guys tomorrow so i should have some news for him. I am just dredding they send me away with no clue or help to deal with this pain. If anyone could help or if there is a professional who could see me that would be great, I'm 27 and need a life as mine has disappeared at the moment. Thank you x
