Hi there. I have cruised through the forums trying to find some answers but have not quite found something like mine yet.... Although since "monster" seems to have quite a bit of knowledge about Herpes, maybe he/she can help out....

I had unprotected sex with someone , then a couple days later I started developing irritation right around/beside my clitoris. It seems to spread to my vagina and back to the anus. It is not really itchy, just REALLY sore and irritated. It also gets worse when touched...

I have been on cipro/amoxacillin (found out was allergic) some anti histamines etc.

It does not seem to hurt to urinate, just wipe afterwords...

I thought I might be allergic to the toilet paper my roomate bought as it stopped last time I switched paper... she buys the same stuff, it started again, switched again... didnt help.

I am taking antihistamines and they are not helping....

The area is red/not swollen/not really itchy, just painful... Right now is the 3 week mark and it just started to get worse... I didnt change the laundry soap etc.

I have been tested for Trich/clamydia/gonn and other std's... not a yeast infection and no bacteria in urine.

Doctor has swabbed area for Herpes, first results were nil... she swabbed again today.... waiting on results.. Also waiting on blood results.

I have had cold sores in the past, but not lately... The first occurence was the beginning of November, lasted until just before xmas... second one started feb 1st... and is still bad...

Any ideas on where I can start? The internet has so much info, but it seems like it keeps pointing me back to herpes...doc swears I dont have it, but she also said unless there is a sore, she cant swab, and 99% of the time if it is herpes, it will have a sore...

Getting frustrated and confused... just want to figure out what it is or be normal! :)

Thanks in advance for the help
