I started my period when I was about 11, and it was pretty normal for a couple of years. Then, it started to get really heavy - at the worst I would go through a super tampon in less then two hours and have to wear a pad as backup. Also, it started skipping - I would get my period for about a day and a half or so, and then it would end for one or two days, and then it would start again and go for about 3 days. Then I went on the pill and things got much better - very light and no more skipping. Only this past month, it skipped a day in the middle again, despite still being on the pill. I mentioned this to my doctor, but I'm at college, and the student health service is pretty bad - the doctor just brushed off my comments. I'm just wondering if this is possibly a problem.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
