I really don't pay too much attention but i know the last 2 cycles i've had have been Extreemly light especially the last one i've had. It only lasts about 2 days and i don't even use 2 full tampons. Its Very very light.
My periods used to last about 5 days. The first two days were very heavy and the last 3 lighter.
I'm a little worried.
Now i'm 25 so menopause i really don't think applies here. so it's narrowed down to 2 things from what i can tell. 1. i'm pregnant and i'm not feeling any other side effect which is strange cause i've been pregnant twice before and definately had lots of morning sickness. Or Thyroid which is the only thing i don't know much about so i can't rule out.

In anycase. INput anyone? I'm not stressed, i'm healthy, no major weight gain or loss and my cycles have been regular.

  • Every pregnancy is often different so you may not necessarily get morning sickness just cause you did with your other two. I suggest you have a pregnancy test to rule that out.

  • I agree. I didn't have a single symptom of pregnancy with my daughter. Well, I'm pregnant again now and I'm sick as a dog. Don't let previous pregnancies decieve you. Also, my mother had a period for the first 3 months of her pregnancy with my brother. Hope this helps. See a OBGYN as soon as you can. Even if you do get a neg pregnancy test.

  • I also have a VERY lite flow. It's been that way for many years now. Used to be extremely heavy when I first started around 13 yrs with HORRIBLE cramps with vommiting and the whole nine yards! Fun!Anyway, my mom put me on BC to control the cramps/heavy flow, and I've been on BC since I was 14.I'm now 26 (no kids, 5'7", 135lbs) and I've had a very lite flow (have my flow for MAYBE 3 days, and only have to use maybe 2 panty-liners/day) for 8+ years. I just chalked it up to the BC causing the flow to be so lite. I haven't brought it up to my GYN b/c I just figured it was a side effect of BC and my bodies reaction to BC. I've even swapped brands of BC many times, and my flow would be just a smidge heavier when I first start them, but as my body gets used to that specific brand, the flow gets very lite again. Is this not a normal thing???? Do I need to contact my Dr? Other than that... everything else is fine.

  • yeah see when i was young it was pretty bad too id black out often even.. But then when i was like 16 or so i got on the pill then off and got prego.. and i was on it until 20-21 off and on.. IN anycase i haven't taken BC in years now though.. but yeah i dont know what the problem is.. I'm assuming you go for a reg pap. and yeah the BC pill can cause a lighter flow.. I just don't have an excuse.
