About a year ago I 'grazed' the entrance to my vagina whilst inserting a tampon in a hurry. (My period had nearly finished so I was quite dry).
After this incident I saw a doctor who gave me some steroid cream to heal it and it seemed to work. However I have been plagued by a nerve type pain in the same area ever since - sometimes it goes away for ages then returns - as it has this past week - with avengence.
I am losing sleep over the burning feeling and the discomfort. I intend to see a doctor after Easter but there are no female docs at my practice now.
