I recently had a very hard white bump on my gums on the inside below a molar. This bump later yielded to an ulcer that went all the way to the tooth. The time of all this was about 2 to 3 weeks. During this time I had very bad breath. I went to a dentist but it was pretty much healed by then and he said it was probably a abcess of some sort that already cleared up. My concern is that It may be syphilis. Does this sound like that to any of you?

  • Well, I can't say what this sounds like but I know that you can get tested if you are suspecting syphilis. There are three ways to do the testings: blood tests, microscope testing for the bacteria and by recognizing the symptoms. Personally i don't think it is syphilis but if you have ever had unprotected sex, you better have it checked.
