Hi, I have always ovulated "like clockwork", including last month. Then when I was due to ovulate this month, it didn't happen and I began having intense hot flashes and insomnia. My FSH level came back at 76! I am 39 years old. I have one ovary left d/t hemorraghic follicular ovarian cysts. Four months ago, had emergency surgery on the remaining right ovary to stop the bleeding from another ruptured cyst. Surgical report empashizes the positive return of blood flow to the ovary, keeping it viable. And since then I was on the pill for 2 months, went off of it and ovulated/cycled then BOOM - nothing. My Dr. put me on low-dose b/c pills, a baby aspirin and basically said that I'd gone into menopause, seemingly overnight. I am seriously upset by this news, as I know all about the severe, long-term health consequences of premature menopause. Anyone have any input on this?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
