sudden bleeding after menopause

my mom get sudden bleeding after 10 yrs of menopause.that blood pathches comes any time .some time 1-2 month later,and some time remains upto 2-3 days. we went to gync.but there is no any cancer detected.is it any serious?

  • Many time this can be innocuous, but it is also possible it is cancer. Cancer of the uterus can a high cure rate if diagnosed early.The MINIMUM testing needed is an endometrial biopsy and Pap test. I always do an ultrasound. In addition, hysteroscopy at the time of the endometrial biopsy allows looking into the uterus to see if there are any abnormalities.
