Stuck/curved tampons and painful removal?

I have been on BC pills to control very heavy bleeding and excruciating cramps. When I switched BC pills, I bled. Every time I do and use a tampon, the tampon, get this, CURVES inside of me, to where it has almost made a complete "U" shape and is terribly painful to remove, to the point that I'm crying. Why is this happening? The tampons aren't damaged, and besides the direct pulling on such a stuck object, it hurts in the left side of my abdomen.

  • Sounds like a structural issue; that your body is different. Have you been examined? Your uterus could be tilted or dropped. Maybe your insides are tiny; I had a friend who was really really tiny and tampons gave her grief.

  • I'm not really tiny, I'm 5'3 or 5'4 and 120 lbs. I never had the problem until recently. I also suffer from possible endo, or at least cripplingly heavy and painful bleeding.

  • It has no bearing on your insides....try acupuncture for the bleeding.

  • Acupunture doesn't work , and very few BC prescriptions even affect it.
