Stressing about having an STD

Recently i had stupidly had unprotected sex with a guy a met one night in a club, a couple of days later i noticed 2 small bumps, one on either side on my OUTER labia, each bump was UNDER the skin and about pea sized. One disapeared a few days later. This one popper and puss came out, just like a spot or pimple and as soon as this happened it disapeared. the second one which is still there has also just popped and seems to be disappearing each day. I am worried i may have contracted genital herpes but have had no symptoms suggested on std websites. i do not have 'blister' sores, they are more like pimples, and i dont experience pain when urinating and have not had a fever. the lumps are/were not in clusters either. I have read genital herpes dont bleed and also only leak a very tiny amout of fluid if any.
Can anyone tell me if i have anything to worry about? Also, i have experienced small pea sized lumps under the skin on my outer labia before i was sexually active. Previous times i have put this down to irritation, as they come just after my period when i have been wearing sanitary towels... which i thought had rubbed during sport and caused a blockage under the skin. Im hoping that is what caused these lumps this time also.
PLEASE help me on this if you can, im freaking out a little. I was told when i went to get the morning after pill to wait 3 weeks until i visit the GUM clinic as some things can take that long to show up on tests.

  • if there's ANY ANY ANY reason to think you MIGHT have anything, posting on these forums is probably not the way to go, checking with your health care provider is.a test or 3 isnt' going to kill you, and you'll know for sure. Also, if you do have anything, (hopefully its nothing) its important you find out so that you can cope with it specifically, and youc an let your partner know. many times people don't even realize that they have an STD.I got one from a girl onetime, and when i called her to let her know, she said i couldn't of gotten it from her "because she wasn't sick and didn't have any symptoms" ....She said she got checked afterwards and had nothing, after i had already testested positive for Chylamidia....and her being my only sexual partner in over 3 months. (with no symptoms prior, and symptoms within a week afterwards)She still hasn't gotten checked, and is sleeping with someone new. You don't want to be one of these people..

  • It doesn't really sound like herpes but, definitely go to your gyno just to make sure because it could be something else that might have been sexually transmitted.
