A friend of mine has asked me to find out if anything can be done for sexual aversion.
He has been married, and previously enjoyed a normal sex life. His marriage ended on very good terms, and he is good friends with his ex wife.
However, in the last year or so he has found that he is not attracted to women (or men, before that is suggested!), and in fact has trouble seeing them anything other than clinically. For example, when he sees a girl's behind, he doesn't think 'phwoooar', but rather 'well there we have two big muscles filled with blood and flesh, covered in skin'. He focuses on the small bits of sex, rather than the act as a whole; like he thinks about hair, stickiness, sweatiness, proximity to body parts that deal with waste matter.
He still watches and enjoys ***n, and has no problem orgasming that way.
He says that sex doesn't feel manly, that the thought of it makes him feel as though he is being overly emotional or primitive, and that it doesn't feel noble. Like he is surrendering to urges and weakening his integrity in the process.
I have tried looking this up online, but haven't had much joy, I was wondering please if anyone had any suggestions as to what he can do?
Thank you in advance :)
